Virginia Tech Dairy Science Alumni Association

About the association...

Whether you are a student or a graduate of Virginia Tech, there is a certain pride we all feel about the Dairy Science program. The words "Virginia Tech graduate" command respect in the dairy industry. The Virginia Tech Dairy Science Alumni Association takes an active role in recruiting students. The association presents two Etgen Memorial Scholarships during the Little All-American weekend. The scholarships were started with donations from alumni and the Dairy Club. The association established the Tracy Stiles Memorial Scholarship in January 2001. Social activities include a dinner meeting during Little All-American weekend with regional "Hokie Hoedowns" at dairy events around the country.

Membership

Lifetime memberships are available at the following rates:

Class of 2004 - $25 if payment is received by May 15, 2005.
All other classes and friends of the alumni association - $50.

Recruiting Video

A videotape entitled, "Dairy Science at Virginia Tech," is available upon request from the Department of Dairy Science. This twelve-minute tape discusses the dairy science program, Dairy Club activities, and life at Virginia Tech. Alumni and students are highlighted in this outstanding recruitment tool.
