What is a LISTSERV list?LISTSERV is primarily a mailing list manager. A mailing list is a collection of names and electronic addresses. LISTSERV receives electronic mail (e-mail) and distributes it to each person "subscribed" to the list. What is the purpose of the Dairy Science Alumni LISTSERV list?The list will be used to keep alumni informed of department events and dairy-related job opportunities. It will also provide a means of discussing issues related to the Virginia Tech Department of Dairy Science. How much does it cost?It's free!!! The only requirement is that you have an active e-mail account to participate. How do you sign up?Complete and submit an electronic form to sign up. You will receive an e-mail when you have been successfully added to the list. |
